Making ends meet


With times as tough as they are I’m aware that a number of local organisations are struggling to find the money to organise events. So I thought it might be a good idea to list some of the small grants that are available to Sutton groups. If you need more information please contact the person listed under “Questions”.


Imagine Festival
When does it open and close: Open now and closes on Wednesday 8 February
What for: Groups interested in participating in the Imagine Arts Festival

Community Fund

What for: Projects run by voluntary and community groups that support Sutton Council’s priorities

ASSH Small Grants
When does it open and close: Open now and closes on Friday 30 March
What for: Voluntary and community organisations supporting vulnerable adults or older people

Summer Festival Fund
When does it open and close: Open by Friday 10 February and closes end March (dates to be set)
What for: Voluntary and community groups putting on street parties and events to celebrate the Olympics, Paralympics, Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and Take Part, Take Pride.

Local Community and Neighbourhood Groups Fund
When does it open and close: Opens in Summer 2012 (dates to be set)
What for: Small local community and neighbourhood groups working on priorities set by local committee areas

Finally,
